This was a small job for a small front garden. Our client wanted to create a neater low maintenance appearance for the front of their house that was mainly going to be used for storing the bins.

This was a small job for a small front garden. Our client wanted to create a neater low maintenance appearance for the front of their house that was mainly going to be used for storing the bins.
This garden was originally very over grown and over looked, it also had a slope at the end which created a problem area. Our client wanted to create a to sit and chill but they didn’t want and lot of maintenance.
This client had recently just finished a full renovation of their house including the construction of swimming pool. All this work resulted in the total destruction of the garden.
This was a project we carried out for one of our regular maintenance customers. As with so many families with children the garden toys, trampoline, slide, climbing frame etc start to dominate the garden.
Our client for this project was an ex police dog handler who had 3 ex police dogs living with them. As a result their lawn was getting worn out on a regular basis and they were getting fed up of having to replace it.
Following the construction of a house extension this garden had been totally ruined and needed bringing back to life. The client had also purchased the strip of land at the side of their house so we needed to erect a new fence on the boundary.
This garden was on a new build site where the builder had just laid everything to grass. We needed to create a level seating half way down the garden as well as a base for a summer house. We created paths to join the top, middle and together.
This is just an example of our hedge trimming service. We can do anything from a light trim and shape to major reduction and hard pruning.
Following some building work and a new drive our client needed to get their front garden back into shape.
Our client had recently completed a major redevelopment of their property and had had the garden dug down by the builder.
A commercial project to landscape a contemplation garden at a hospital in Hertfordshire to enable it to be used when patients need quiet time to reflect and have peace.
At Rosewood Garden Services we were asked to improve this front garden.

Replacing all the original paving and coping stones and replacing them with matching slabs neatened the area and tied it together. We also removed the steps and created a slope to make in easier to get the wheelie bins in and out.

To solve the issue of being overlooked was a simple solution of erect a new 6ft fence around the garden. To deal with the sloped area we constructed a suspended decking seating area over the slope. With the rest of the garden we simply laid a new path and laid the rest of the garden to lawn.

In order to get the garden back to its glory we had to remove the top layer of soil as this was contaminated with building debris. We then build the level back up with an organic rich top soil, this allowed us to lay a new lawn and plant out the beds.

At Rosewood Garden Services we created a child safe play area for a very special family.
This was a project we carried out for one of our regular maintenance customers. As with so many families with children the garden toys, trampoline, slide, climbing frame etc start to dominate the garden.
We came up with the solution of splitting the garden to create two areas. The end of the garden was a shadier area than the area nearer the house. We then cover the area with a weed membrane and then cover the membrane with a specific play bark to create a safe area for play.

Our client for this project was an ex police dog handler who had 3 ex police dogs living with them. As a result their lawn was getting worn out on a regular basis and they were getting fed up of having to replace it. The client therefore decided to install a synthetic lawn to create a continually green lawn area. During the work they decided that they wanted to soften the patio area so we came up with the solution of gluing the synthetic lawn directly to the patio rather than going to the expense of digging out all the patio.

Following the construction of a house extension this garden had been totally ruined and needed bringing back to life. Erecting the fence also allowed for the installation of a gate to create side access.
The patio was constructed using a paving slab to match the tiles in the kitchen to create a seamless floor when the bifold doors are open. The remaining areas of the garden where then laid to lawn and boarders created in front of the fences.

Following some building work and a new drive our client needed to get their front garden back into shape.
Initially we needed to raise the level of the garden to the height of the driveway, this was achieved by bringing in organic rich top soil. Turf was then laid to create a new lawn and plants added to create beds.

Our client had recently completed a major redevelopment of their property and had had the garden dug down by the builder.
We initially had to erect fences on all sides to create a new boundary. We then had to did the garden down a bit lower to get it level with the patio area. Using sleepers we constructed retaining walls to hold back the surrounding soil. Top soil was then added and a new lawn and mature shrubs planted.

Following the construction of a new hospital wing the developers were left with a bare area which they wanted to turn in to a contemplation garden for patients. Working with a garden designer we create a path and seating area which included a water feature.
A new lawn was laid to create an open space. All the beds where planted with aromatic and plants to realise relaxing fragrances.
